Elected in December 2016 at the California Farm Bureau Federation's Annual Meeting in Monterey, Richard will represent the three Central Coast County Farm Bureaus on the California Farm Bureau Federation's Board of Directors. CFBF District 8 includes the Counties of Monterey, San Luis Obispo, and San Benito due to their similar production crops and related issues.
A graudate of Hartnell College, Richard is the ranch manager for Sabor Farms in the Hollister area. He resides in San Benito County wiht his wife, Tifany, and children Hannah, Emma, and Mitchell. As a Hollister native, Richard has an intimate knowledge of the agricultural and environmental concerns that are relevant to his District. He has been active in the Ag Wiaver process for the past two iterations. Richard has strived to provide an insiders perspective on regional issues that impact the three Central Coast Counties and works to emphasize the improtance of our state's unique agricultural potential.

Richard Perez Sr. is the owner of NorthCal Travel Dream Vacations, Chairman of San Benito County Community Action Board and Vice-Chairman of San Benito County Workforce Development Board. Richard has more than 20 years of experience in telecommunications industry as leading field engineer, specializing in long haul fiber optic solutions. Richard’s passion is youth services and advocates for sustainable employment for the next generation’s workforce. Richard has dedicated himself to improving conditions within the community through educational opportunities as well as real life job experience.
Working closely with community partners Richard has developed a wide variety of resources to help implement programs beneficial to those seeking gainful employment in San Benito County. Richard has been a reliable leader and collaborator providing clear and concise planning for the future. Richards’s hobbies also include classic car restoration, sports, and community activism. Richard is a member of LULAC, the coalition for a new San Benito County Library, and future entrepreneurs of America. Building networks of support through outreach and advocacy is his strategic plan for the community of Hollister.
Karen Para is a Broker Associate with more than 20 years’ experience in Residential, Multi, REO and Short Sale listings. Prior to working in the Real Estate Industry, Karen worked as a Paralegal for 5 years. Her expertise in the legal field includes; Probate, Wrongful death, and Real Estate Law issues. Karen believes that continuing education is essential in any field. This is evident by the number of certificates she holds; certified Distressed Property Specialist, Relocation Specialist, ECO Broker Certified and Certified Mexico Sales Specialist.
Giving back to the Community is very important to Karen. She has been doing this for many different associations over the years. She was a Director for 3 years and Vice President in the San Benito County Chamber of Commerce. She is an active member of the California and National Associations of Realtors and held the numerous positions within the San Benito County Board of Realtors Association. Those positions include; President, Vice President, Director 3 years, Parliamentarian, Secretary, Communications Chair, past member of the Professionals Standards and Ethics Committees. Throughout the years she has earned President and Executive level awards at Intero Real Estate. She currently is the Secretary for the San Benito County Work Force Development Board.

Duane Bradford is a Team Manager of the Gilroy branch of the San Jose DOR district. Prior to being a manager with the DOR he was a Senior Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor, Qualified Rehabilitation Professional with the same office. He received his M.S. from San Diego State University in 2012. He holds three B.A. degrees, one in Human Behavior, Political Science and French Language. He also has an A.A. degree in French Language. Duane has thirty years of drug and alcohol counseling experience starting with his training in the U.S. Navy. He provided these services while on active duty with the United State Navy, where he served aboard the aircraft carrier USS Constellation, CV-64 in the early 1980s and ran the ship’s program.

Randy Brown lives in Hollister with his family and is a fourth generation San Benito County resident. He currently works at Gavilan College as the Associate Dean of Community Development and Grants Management. He has a Ph.D. in Human Development and Masters in Child Development. His former positions include as Associate Professor at University of Nevada and Peace Corps Volunteer. He has served locally as a chair and/or member of Homeless Coalition of San Benito, First V San Benito, and San Benito County Behavioral Health Board.
Kristina Chavez Wyatt

Kristina Chavez Wyatt is the Executive Director of the San Benito County Business Council, President of Farmhouse Communications and a Client Advisor for CA Manufacturing Technology Consulting (CMTC) throughout Northern California. She has more than a decade of community engagement, business advocacy, public relations and government affairs experience.
Kristina specializes in business analysis, providing technical services, favorably positioning projects, programs and organizations via building coalitions of support through grassroots networking and community engagement. She has considerable experience focusing on developing and executing strategic communications programs, building relationships, economic development strategy, business growth and advocacy, land use, agriculture and navigating processes of government.

Andy Hartmann graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a degree in Environmental Studies in 1997. In 1999 he began a five-year electrician apprenticeship with the Tri-County Electrical Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee. He finished the apprenticeship in 2004 and continued working for Pajaro Valley Electric of Watsonville as a Journeyman Electrician. In 2005 Andy left the field to become an Organizer for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 234 (IBEW 234).
IBEW 234 is the Electrician's Union for Santa Cruz, San Benito, and Monterey County. IBEW 234 provides Electrical Contractors in the construction industry working throughout Monterey, San Benito, and Santa Cruz County with skilled, knowledgeable Electricians and Apprentices. IBEW 234 is a non-profit striving to serve a constructive role in the electrical industry. Andy was elected as President of IBEW 234 in 2007 and later appointed to Business Manager in 2011. After being appointed, Andy was elected to a three-year term as Business Manager in 2013 and again in 2016.
In addition to his obligations for the IBEW, Andy is the President of the Monterey/Santa Cruz County Building & Construction Trades Council. Andy also serves on the Santa Cruz County Workforce Development Board (WDB) and the Monterey County WDB. Over the past five years, Andy has been working on the installation of electric vehicle charging stations throughout Santa Cruz, San Benito, and Monterey County. He has helped put IBEW contractors as the first choice for these installations to meet the future demands of electric vehicle technology. Andy currently lives in the City of Santa Cruz with his wife and two children.
